Upload Image
EVA Netmodeler has two directories on the server where images (including icons) are held. These are:
- Image Directory, where all icons used to represent types and relationships are stored, including those provided with EVA Netmodeler. You can add to the image library by uploading web friendly images. These should be .gif,
.jpg or .png file types. For icon display purposes, large images are recommended to be 64x64 pixels, and small images 24x24 pixels. Gifs are preferred over jpegs, since they allow transparency and map onto backgrounds
better.
- System images, where system buttons, backgrounds, logos, etc. are stored. These should not generally be changed unless you are knowledgeable and want to make global look and feel changes.
To upload an image, simply browse to the image file, select the appropriate directory for upload and press Upload.
Note that the actual Directory locations are controlled via system settings. Refer tot he System Settings section for more detail on how to use system settings and an up to date list of available system settings.
