Domain FiltersDomain filters turn off whole domains (sets of types) which are not of interest to the user at the time e.g. A senior architect might have access to domains for Business Architecture, Applications Architecture, Information Architecture and Technical Architecture. For the moment, she may just want to view Information Architecture details without the clutter of all the other types. Selecting the Domain Filters button on the navigation bar opens the Set Domains Tool as illustrated below Select the domains to be activated by checking the box next to the domain name. Select the Set Domains button to activate the domain selection Refer to the Item Filters section for information on how to filter repository contents based on property values and relationships. You can use on of the following techniques (and others!) to find out which types are included in a domain:
Note that the browsers that you have access to and the types that you can see (including the type Archi Domain) can be restricted by the security sub-system. Please as your system administrator for assistance if you cannot see the above browsers or types. |
